1	To start with, let me state clearly that media is the most powerful mode of communication. It shares news and information with people. Sometimes media spreads false news but generally it informs us about facts around us.
	شروع کرنے سے پہلے مجھے واضح طور پر یہ بیان کرنے دو کہ میڈیا ابلاغ کا انتہائی طاقتور ذریعہ ہے۔یہ لوگوں میں خبریں اور معلومات بانٹتا ہے۔بعض اوقات میدیا جھوٹی خبریں پھیلاتا ہے،لیکن عام طور پر یہ ہمیں  ہمارے اردگرد کے حقائق سے آگاہ کرتا ہے۔
2	Media helps people to share knowledge of the world. Their feelings and opinions are expressed through it. Media attracts the attention of a very large audience. Have you noticed that the first things we do soon after entering the house is to switch on the television?
	میڈیا ،دنیا کے علم کو آپس میں بانٹنے کے لیے لوگوں کی مدد کرتا ہے۔اس کے ذریعے اُن کے احساسات اور آراء کا اظہار ہوتا ہے۔میڈیا سامعین کی بہت بڑی تعداد کو متوجہ کرتا ہے۔کیا آپ نے کبھی غور کیا ہے کہ گھر میں داخل ہونے کے بعد  جو سب سے پہلا کام ہم کرتے ہیں؟وہ ٹیلی وژن کو لگاتے ہیں۔
3	Madam, in my opinion, media plays a very constructive role for society. It raises awareness about many social issues like corruption, terrorism, drug addiction and violation of human rights.

4	There are two means of communication, electronic media and print media. The media includes films, radio, television, internet, books, magazines and newspaper. It provides us information as well as entertainment.

5	Yes, well said. It would not be wrong to say that media is the most vigilant institution that keeps an eye on every segment of the society. Through debates, reports and talk shows it makes everyone answerable and accountable. That is why media has become an integral part of our lives.
	ہاں بہت اچھی بات کہی۔ یہ کہنا غلط نہ ہوگا کہ  میڈیا ایک انتہائی  چوکس ادارہ ہے جو معاشرے کے ہر حصے پر نظر رکھتا ہے۔مباحثوں ،رپورٹوں اور ٹاک شوز کے ذریعے یہ ہر کسی کو جواب دہ اور ذمہ دار بناتا ہے۔اسی لیے، میڈیا ہماری زندگیوں کا ایک ضروری حصہ بن گیا ہے۔

5	For three years, the master and all his relatives lived in this valley. Many of the Muslims too joined them. All supplies to the valley were cut off. The Makkans saw to it that no food or drink reached the Banu Hashim. The poor Banu Hashim had to live on the leaves and roots of trees and bushes. The condition of children was particularly pitiable. At last some kind-hearted Makkans took pity on the Banu Hashim. They tore to pieces the agreement hanging in the Kaaba. The hunger stricken Banu Hashim were thus able to come back to their homes.

6	We see a king of milk in tins. It is powdered milk. All the water in this milk has evaporated. When fresh milk stays in a dish for a little time, the thick part of the milk comes to the top. It is the cream of the milk. From this cream people make butter. If milk with the cream on it is made into powder, it is called Full Cream Milk Powder. When something floating is taken off the top of a liquid we say it skimmed. When the cream is skimmed from the milk, the thin milk that stays is called “Skim Milk”. Skim milk is a good milk but it has no fat in it. It is not good for very young babies.
